Today MidwestBride features the romantic estate wedding of Cara and Jesse.
The setting was Felt Mansion in Saugatuck, Michigan. This is a beautiful historic estate with charming little white chapel on the property and space for a big white tent.
Cara and her bridesmaids got ready in the lovely bridal suite at Felt. The hair and makeup team were on site making everyone beautiful. The girls were dressed in a lovely shade of pink. The bride wore a stunning dress by Hayley Paige. They were all picture perfect!
The ceremony took place at the water garden on the property. This was a perfect backdrop for not only the nuptials but also Cara and Jesse’s first look. After the ceremony and cocktail hour, guests were invited into the tent for dinner. Guests were wow-ed with the atmosphere. The tables were set with crisp white linens and camel colored napkins. Flowers in lovely muted tones of ivory, blush, taupe and white, gold vases and candles completed the table decor. The head table had a flag banner backdrop and gold MR & MRS sign. It was finished off with an adorable fold and ivory tissue tassel banner.
Some of the charming favorite details of the day were the handmade chalkboard signs including a chalkboard seating chart and bar menu. The ribbon banner selfie station; the hand-painted door THANK YOU sign; the moss W on the front door of the mansion; the gold dotted ceremony programs and the various ‘cheers’ signs that kept the atmosphere….cheerful!
