We are adoring this Traverse City engagement. Chloe and Mike have the sweetest love, which is evident by these photos!
I met Michael the winter of 2012 in Quincy, Michigan. At the time I was attending college in Huntsville, Texas (my home state) only coming to Michigan to visit my mother and experience my first true winter. Teaming up with one of her friends, my mom set Michael and I up for a blind date. The moment he pulled up through the driveway and knocked on the front door there was an instant connection. Long story short, the Michigander was able to lasso this Texas gal and we got engaged in Traverse City in February of 2015. We were delighted that Kim was willing to capture our love in the Spring of 2015 in Traverse City. We could not have had a better session among the cherry blossoms and on the shore of the spectacular Grand Traverse Bay. Kim helped us feel natural and not too posed. In the middle of our session on the pier we were drenched by Mother Nature, and instead of packing up and calling it a day Kim stayed committed and made our photos beautiful even while we were soaking. It’s so rare to have this inherent confidence in an artist and you trust she will make your love look as wonderful as it feels. Kim is a true artist and we look forward to her capturing the rest of our journey. – Chloe, the bride
