We are definitely ready for Spring in the Midwest. Jill and Neil shared a pink St Louis wedding on a rainy day in May. We love the selfie stick photo booth, so fun!
Jill and Neil’s wedding day was exactly as they imagined – an intimate outdoor ceremony (despite having to move under a tent due to thunderstorms!), officiated by a dear friend, a cocktail hour inside Scape, an amazing meal, and dancing. Lots and lots and lots of dancing. Oh, and selfie stick centerpieces, which made for an abundance of photos full of…personality!Instead of a traditional bridal party, Jill’s sister was her maid of honor, Neil’s brother the best man, and they simply requested that closest friends spent the morning with them, laughing and sharing in the joy that radiated throughout the day. There was no set attire for the day. Each girl wore her own summer dress and was given a small bouquet as a token of friendship from the bride. The men wore their own suits and were given amazing ties from Topman. The groom also donned the bride’s grandfather’s tie clip, while the bride herself wore her mother’s wedding dress! The invitations and place settings were designed by Alyssa, the bride’s sister, and fit perfectly with their simple + classic subtle urban theme. From start to finish, Jill and Neil’s wedding was a beautiful representation of their one of a kind love and it was such an honor to be able to photograph it! – Brittany of Kairos Photography
