So much love and charm in this rustic Ohio wedding.
Jordan and Patrick are two of the most authentic and awesome people you would ever have the pleasure of knowing. I was incredibly honored to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Rivercrest Farm wedding venue in Dover, Ohio. We enjoyed all the wonderful charm of the farm venue, with animals and gorgeous scenery all around. With a warm spell coming through, Jordan and Pat were also able to move the ceremony location outside where we had a beautiful fall backdrop and crisp, yet comfortable fall air. The styling and decorations were wonderful, and completely unique to Patrick and Jordan’s personalities. Everything about their day with relaxed and centered around friends, family, and being authentic to who they are as a couple. There was not an ounce of stress or anxiety about everything going perfectly to plan. In fact, there wasn’t a rehearsal or run through for the wedding party! It was relaxed and real as could be, and everything went perfectly!I was also able to witness one of the most unique wedding traditions I’ve seen to date. Pat informed me that he was following a long tradition of “stealing the bride” and making her do something completely ridiculous. Jordan wasn’t quite sure what was coming after dinner when she was whisked away to the ceremony location once again. However, this time it was decorated with pop-up soccer goals, and there were a team of Pat look-a-likes as well as a team of Jordan’s, who happened to wear a sheet signifying her wedding dress and a photo cut out of her face! Everything about their day was honest and a complete joy to be a part of. – Tyler Rippel
