We really are dreaming of a white Christmas and this winter in the woods wedding features two of our favorite things snow and a cabin!
2015 could not have started any more perfectly. Georgia and John kicked off my wedding season with a Grand Barn Wedding down at the Mohicans. First of all, if you haven’t checked out this wedding venue, you seriously need to. Not only are the grounds amazing, but the team on staff are absolutely wonderful to not only the guests, but all of the vendors as well. A little nervous, Georgia and John chose to do a first look to help remove the stress of wedding day. Once John saw his beautiful bride for the first time, we went into the woods for portraits. As you’ll see, these two are impossible to take a bad photograph of. Aside from me accidentally stepping into a frozen pond, the portrait session was so amazing! 24 hours later, and I think my left foot is finally thawing out.Another benefit to having a Grand Barn Wedding is that you’re not close to the city. This means there is no light pollution. You actually get to see the stars! Since I normally shoot in the city, I was so excited to make a portrait with Georgia and John showing the beautiful winter night sky! – Jason Thomas Crocker
