We are loving this Anthropolgie chic DIY farm wedding. Everything about it so adorable with lots of vintage details from the “jam packed” favors at the reception to the cutest yellow bridesmaid dresses. Enjoy!
Katie and Matt met freshman year at St. John’s University, in their accounting class. The inspiration for their wedding last August at the Red Barn Farm in Northfield, MN (bride’s hometown) was retro homespun. Following a traditional Catholic ceremony, guests enjoyed lawn games, custom craft beers and wine and a bonfire while staff of the Red Barn Farm prepared wood-fired pizzas. Many of the details and decor were DIY, including jars of homemade jam and the seating chart, which featured vintage napkins strung on a clothesline with each guest’s name and table number etched onto the clothespin. The interior of the barn was bathed in candlelight, string lights, wildflower centerpieces and other DIY touches, including a large banner hung over the sweetheart table that read, “Our Story Begins.” The party concluded at the end of the night with a sing-a-long to Piano Man, a longtime wedding tradition amongst St. John’s University alumni. – Mackenzie Orth Photography
