Ashley and Dan married this past October at Crown Valley, a quaint winery in Ste. Genevieve Missouri. It was a lovely fall blush wedding, with whimsical bouquets. We love that the bride chose a blush wedding gown and the bridesmaids wore white.
More about the wedding day from the brides perspective:
I wanted my wedding to have a sense intimacy; to feel casual, with a bit of an ethereal, woodland effect. To accomplish that we used light colors, mixed with lots of greenery.
One of my favorite touches from the day was the table décor for the reception. The table runners were live moss scattered about, mixed with antique books, bottles and candles. It made for a wonderful effect at dusk.
My wedding dress was a blush color, my bridesmaids wore white. I loved that subtle change in tradition. And I loved my boutique. It weighed nearly twenty pounds and was absolutely beautiful.
Ultimately my husband and I both feel that the day was made perfect by the scenery we were surrounded by (Crown Valley Winery, Sainte Genevieve, MO) and the size of the wedding. It was intimate without being too small and gave us the opportunity to connect with every guest there.
