Today we are sharing gorgeous marsala & jewel tone wedding inspiration. Marsala is Pantone’s color of 2015 and we are loving it for weddings. The mixture of marsala, jewel tones, and pops of gold are so classic and would be stunning for a wedding in any season!
“The inspiration for this shoot came from the idea of showcasing fun jewel tones and adding a splash of Pantone´s 2015 color of the year, marsala. I’ve called this shoot the “Skyloft Elopement” shoot. The table settings were very carefully selected and had to have a metallic color to them as I wanted the gold and marsala color to play off of one another while adding splashes of purple to give it a little more of a jewel tone edge which I feel they did perfectly.
The flowers had elements of the marsala color as well but also mixed in the purple and pinks. Cristin at Redberry Floral did a great job of bring the color palate that I had selected to life in all of her floral arrangements. I loved how Amanda Day Rose Paper took the purple jewel tones and really brought the “elegance” factor that I was really trying to convey. What I love most about this shoot is the way the jewel tones combined with the marsala makes everything vibrant and stand out and gives the affair a very bold, elegant and romantic feel.” – Kristina of Vision of Elegance
